THE THOUET :
This river is 32 km long and an affluent of the Loire. The Thouet flows into the Loire in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, near Saumur.
It’s a very quiet river in summer, but in automn or spring, the Thouet could know sudden rise in the river levels and it could be really impressive.
